The Metabolic Pathways Strategy is a holistic approach to addressing the root cause of metabolic dysfunction like insulin resistance and inflammation.
We use whole food nutrition strategies which include intermittent fasting and macro nutrient cycling. This strategy identifies 3 biochemical pathways our bodies use to make ATP (energy). The problem with those suffering with obesity or weight loss resistance is that they are stuck in one of these pathways.

The Metabolic Pathways Strategy allows our body to downregulate the dysfunctional pathway to allow it to heal by activating the other 2 pathways in sequence. This is why we take our clients through phases of eliminating or adding macro nutrients.

Phase 1

  • Prepares body for fat loss and metabolic healing by eliminating standard inflammation causing foods (processed foods, gluten, dairy, damaged oils)


     

Phase 2

  • Turns on fat burning or ketosis by training our body how to utilize our fat stores for energy. 


 

 

 

 

Phase 3

  • Trains our body to utilize nutritional fat in addition to body fat to make energy. This phase is also a customization phase as each person starts to identify which foods cause inflammation or impede fat loss.


Phase 4

  • Incorporates carbohydrate cycling to teach our body how to utilize all 3 pathways to make energy while still burning body fat. This is a key phase to maintain weight loss results and follow a sustainable healthy lifestyle.
