Hey everyone, Bridget here from Epic Health Journey and I'm bringing you your weight loss tip of the week today. It's pretty exciting. I'm sitting here in an infrared sauna. My husband and I just had a 37 minute session and I thought this would be pretty cool to add to your routine. But listen to this. When you get in an infrared sauna for just 30 minutes, you burn a whopping 600 calories. That's crazy. Just for reference, if you go out and run six miles at 10 minute pace. So if that took you about an hour, you'll probably burn the same amount of calories. So you get to do that by relaxing, Yes, you're gonna experience some heat and a little bit of sweating, but you are going to burn those calories passively. How cool is that? You get the added benefits with that. So your body is detoxing, you are balancing hormones.

Um, your skin is getting benefits. And in fact, actually I shot a video just a little while ago. But I would just like to encourage you to add some self care to your week, whether it be a Friday or a Saturday, that you just take some time, schedule yourself a massage, um, schedule self at the spa. You'll experience those benefits. Make sure that you keep hydrated. Make sure that you are, of course, you're doing all the other amazing things in your health, that you are eating whole, fresh foods, that you're drinking your water, and um, that you are still exercising on a regular basis.
